DAVID McCASH.. Picture of David McCash when he served on HMS King George V. He also served on HMS Revenge.

ABLE SEAMAN JOHN BAKER... I wondered if anyone out there served on the King George V during the time she was in Tokyo Bay. My name is Able Seaman John Baker. It would be great to hear from anyone who remembers the goodwill visit march through Melbourne and taking the Duke of Gloucester and his family to Hobart.

NORMAN FIELDHOUSE... My grandfather served on HMS King George V and took many photographs of the crew and ship which are still in the family. I am trying to find out if there is a crew list available for me to look at, so I can see exactly what he did while serving. Unfortunately, he died a few years ago, and I am now trying to find out as much as I can about life aboard the ship.

AB RON GAZZANIGA:  My brother served on HMS King George V in the Pacific 1943 onwards. He passed away in 2001. Does anyone old shipmates remember him.

THOMAS SCOTT:  My Grandad was a Royal marine who served on HMS Duke of York and HMS King George V in Oct / Nov 1941. I would love to hear from someone who may remember him.

We believe he joined HMS King George V at Scapa Flow, from King Alfred, just after the sinking of the Bismarck, with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He is my grandfather and this information is all we have managed to ascertain. He is celebrating his 90th birthday this year and I am trying to find out about him for our family history.

JAMES MATTHEW NICHOLLS, My uncle served on HMS King George V at the time of the Battle with Bismarck. he was awarded a DSM along with another chap for removing a live shell from near the magazine. he was mentioned in dispatches and the commendation was listed in the London illustrated news.
