WALLACE V. CAKE My father served on HMS Prince of Wales and
was on her when she was sunk and was taken prisoner by the Japanese after
the fall of Singapore (I think) He is now in a DVA Hospital here in St
John's NFLD. I am printing off any material on HMS Prince of Wales and I
am always looking for more pictures and info to show him. If anybody
had any photo's or info on HMS Prince of Wales or knew my father Wallace
V.Cake.

would very much like to know more about him and his wartime endeavors and
ship mates, If you knew Willaim Rooke my uncle please let me
know.
BERNARD McDERMOTT.. My granddad was a stoker on the Prince of
Wales does anybody out there know anything about him?
RONALD HOLT.. My dad served on either HMS Prince of Wales or HMS
Repulse as a stoker during the war. His nickname was Tiny Tim and he
came from Oldham in Lancashire. He went to India, Singapore and
Australia where he was hurt in a bar fight with the MPs!
SEAMAN GEORGE HERBERT
WILSON... My Father served on HMS Prince of Wales for
her entire albeit short career. he was a member of the Gun Crew -
Secondary armament - The smaller twin turrets. Aged approx 17 at the
time, now living in Queensland Australia. We would be
interested to hear from other crew of HMS Prince Of Wales or
families.
CHARLES WEBB: My Grandfather served on HMS Prince of Wales, he
survived the sinking and came back to Britain, but sadly he died before
I was born. I am very interested to hear form anyone who may have known
him on board or may have crew photos.
