MESSAGES

I have a small plaque with a piece of shrapnel on it and an inscription "HMS Barham Battle of Jutland 31st May, 1916". I am unsure which of my ancestors served on this ship and would like to find a way of tracing crew members names. I assume the plaque was given to all crew members.

VICTOR HAWKEN. My Uncle served on HMS Barham and was killed when HMS Barham was sunk. Looking for any information on him especially from any Naval personnel who knew him.

ABLE SEAMAN CROCKART.  Served on HMS Barham and was killed when she was torpedoed and sunk. If anyone knew that name, I would be pleased to hear from them. On behalf of his brother Douglas
