History of HMS Celandine Royal Naval Flower Class Corvettes of World War II. HMS Celandine is shown in naval painting escorting Atlantic Convoy. The Flower-Class corvettes main role was escorting convoys. The corvettes were built mostly in British dockyards in 1940 & 1941. Original painting of HMS Celandine available.

HMS Celandine a Flower Class Corvette, Launched 28th December 1940,n Displacement 925 tons, and a crew of 85, top speed of 16 knots. and a armament of one 4 - inch gun, one 2 pounder AA  and four .303 inch AA guns. She was finally scrapped at Portaferry in October 1948.
