HMS Howe by Ivan Berryman. HMS Howe Launched : 9th April 1940 HMS Howe, was built by Fairfield and launched on the 9th of April 1940 the last of her class. she served in the Home fleet in 1942 - 43 and in Force H, 1943, on duty off Sicily and in Italian waters and went into refit from October 1943, to June 1944, HMS Howe then was transferred to the British Pacific Fleet and was deployed of Japan. used as a training ship in 1946 she was Scrapped at Inverkeithing 4th June 1958. Scrapped at Inverkeithing 4th June 1958. |
