Sub Lieutenant Frank Ogden MBE

As a member of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve, he took part in Operation Struggle, the midget submarine operation targetting Japanese naval vessels in Singapore. He was in charge of HMS XE-3 on the towed passage to Singapore before it was handed over to Ian Fraser VC for the attack on the cruiser Takao. For this task he was awarded an MBE.
